Meet The Author

Taree Brown is an entrepreneur, actor, philanthropist and founder of Above The Obstacle Foundation, which provides affordable housing for low-income individuals, the disabled, and senior citizens.

Originally from Louisiana, he spent his adult life in Georgia and now lives in California. Intense lies is his first book and chronicles his own experiences of being wrongfully accused, imprisoned and ultimately freed. He hopes that the book serves as an inspiration of persistence and faith.
